4 Steps to better dental health
1. Brush regularly
We have found that 25% of adults do not brush at least twice a day! The basics of dental health is to brush regularly, to prevent the build up of plaque.
Brushing regularly also maintains your gums. Plaque when built up will lead to Gingivitis, bleeding gums, and infection.
2. Practice proper brushing
Brushing your teeth right is a matter of habit.
Learn the Bass Method of brushing, studies have shown it is the most effective brushing technique to remove dental plaque. Also, make sure you brush for at least 2 minutes and cover all teeth from the front and back.
3. Use the right dental hygiene products
Oral Kare products are designed to facilitate the Bass Method of brushing, and work to reduce dental health issues. The Diamond Brush is easily angled at 45 degrees to brush along the gum line, and our plaque disclosing toothpaste ensures that your teeth are plaque free after brushing.
4. Replace your toothbrush regularly
It is recommended to replace a toothbrush once every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles are worn. Worn bristles are less effective in scrubbing, and may leave residue on teeth even after brushing properly.
